We're partnering with a leading technology-driven organisation to appoint two Risk Business Partners. These roles offer the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, take ownership of business risk profiles and help embed a risk-aware culture across a complex, evolving environment.

You'll play an important role in helping the business understand its risk exposure, make informed decisions and balance appropriate risk management with commercial objectives. This is an opportunity for someone who sees risk as an enabler of good business decisions, rather than simply a compliance requirement.

The opportunity

As a trusted adviser to business leaders, you'll help identify and manage risks across key areas of the organisation, providing clear, practical advice that supports business performance and responsible decision-making.

You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenge constructively where needed and ensure risk management practices are embedded into day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

You'll be responsible for:

- Partnering with business leaders to identify, assess and manage risks, supporting informed strategic and operational decisions.
- Owning and maintaining business risk profiles, including risk reporting, metrics and alignment with risk appetite.




- Advising on appropriate controls, risk treatments and remediation activities, ensuring approaches are proportionate to the risks involved.
- Supporting incident and issue management, ensuring risks are escalated appropriately and corrective actions are completed.
- Identifying emerging risks across technology, cyber security, data, AI, product development and operational resilience.
- Working with stakeholders across business and technology teams to integrate risk considerations into projects, programmes and business initiatives.
- Applying existing risk frameworks and governance processes effectively, while identifying opportunities to improve how risk is managed.
- Building risk awareness and capability through constructive challenge, strong relationships and practical guidance.

About you

You're an engaging, commercially minded risk professional who knows how to build relationships, influence stakeholders and translate risk concepts into practical business outcomes.

You understand that effective risk management requires more than policies and frameworks. You're comfortable working in dynamic environments,



adapting your approach to different stakeholders and finding solutions that protect the business while allowing it to move forward.

You'll ideally bring:

- Experience in a business-facing risk, operational risk, technology risk or risk advisory role.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior leaders.
- Experience implementing and operating risk frameworks, maintaining risk profiles and managing controls, issues and remediation.
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to challenge constructively and offer workable solutions.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex risks clearly to non-risk stakeholders and senior audiences.
- An understanding of technology, data, cyber security or operational resilience risks.

The right background

Experience within a SaaS, software, fintech, digital platform or technology-led organisation will be highly regarded. Candidates from other complex environments may also be suitable where they can demonstrate strong business partnering skills and an understanding of technology-related risks.

Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential. We're particularly interested in people who understand how technology-driven businesses operate and can apply risk management in a way that supports product delivery, business priorities and informed decision-making.
