Position Details

Job Title: Plumber

Location: Garbutt, Townsville

Pay Rate: $47.30/hr + Super

Duration: 2 November 2026 - 29 January 2027

Potential Extension Available

Monday to Friday

What You'll Be Doing

- Plumbing and drainage construction and maintenance works
- Using Microsoft Office applications and electronic devices to record and manage job information
- Following secure work practices, including working around asbestos, lead-based products, and other high-risk construction activities
- Conducting daily risk assessments and adhering to WHS legislation and site procedures
- Identifying hazards and maintaining a strong safety culture
- Delivering excellent customer service and contributing to a positive workplace environment




- Mentoring and supporting apprentices across all year levels

Essential Requirements

- Current Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher)
- Current Queensland Plumbing Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZ 3500 Plumbing and Drainage standards
- Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and environmental legislation
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service
