Affinity Therapy

Melbourne

Warmth, honesty, humour and genuine connection are at the heart of how we work. We value psychologists who care deeply about their clinical work, enjoy building meaningful therapeutic relationships, and appreciate being part of a team that supports one another.

The Role

This is a supportive private practice environment, with the autonomy to work in a way that aligns with your clinical interests and professional goals. You'll work with a mix of NDIS, Medicare and privately funded clients, with flexibility to shape your caseload around your experience, preferred presentations and areas of interest.

What to Expect

- Our administrative team manages enquiries, intake and bookings, with marketing support to help connect you with clients.
- Flexibility and autonomy. Build a caseload that suits your interests, experience and preferred client presentations.
- Support for your professional growth - peer supervision and Board-approved supervision opportunities to support your ongoing development.
- Flexible service delivery. Telehealth infrastructure allows you to offer services flexibly where appropriate.
- A practice with purpose. Be part of a team committed to making psychological support more accessible, approachable and meaningful.
- Room to grow. Develop your clinical interests and build a sustainable caseload within a growing practice.
- Chance to set your own fee.

About You

We're interested in psychologists who bring both clinical capability and a genuine interest in people. You'll ideally be someone who values therapeutic relationships, enjoys working collaboratively, and wants to be part of a practice where people are treated with warmth and respect.

- General or Clinical registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Eligibility to provide Medicare-rebatable services.
- An ABN and appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Sound knowledge of psychological assessment and diagnostic processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working independently, alongside a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team.
- Comfort working with adolescent and adult clients.

Experience and Additional Interests

- At least one year of private practice experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience working with diverse populations is an advantage.
- An interest in, or experience working with, children is a bonus.

Why Join Us?

We want our psychologists to feel supported in their clinical work, have genuine autonomy over their caseloads, and know there's a team behind them. We value quality over simply filling diaries, meaningful therapeutic relationships over a transactional approach, and a workplace culture where people can be themselves.

If you're looking for a practice that values you as a psychologist and as a person, we'd love to hear from you.
