The General Labourer is responsible for supporting the maintenance and presentation of renewable energy sites and associated infrastructure. This role involves a range of grounds maintenance, general labouring and site upkeep activities to ensure sites remain secure, compliant and well maintained.

Key responsibilities

Perform grass cutting, slashing, whipper snipping and vegetation control across renewable energy sites

Undertake general maintenance and repair tasks as directed

Maintain site grounds, access tracks, fencing and surrounding facilities

Assist tradespeople and maintenance technicians with routine maintenance activities

Operate and maintain equipment and tools safely and effectively

Conduct site clean-up activities and remove debris, vegetation and waste materials

Complete basic inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring attention

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies,



site procedures and safety requirements

Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), risk assessments and environmental controls

About you

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, labouring, farming, construction or a similar role

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Current Victorian Driver's Licence

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and self-motivated

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of maintenance and labouring tasks

Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high site standards
