Hays is partnering with a Federal Government organisation to recruit a Production Support Officer for a contract based in Brisbane CBD until 30 June 2027.

Your new role Working within a high-volume operational environment, you will support a range of back-of-house processing activities to ensure physical applications and documentation are accurately and efficiently managed.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Scanning application forms, supporting documents and photographs
- Separating and preparing physical applications and attachments for processing
- Re-scanning documentation and completing manual exception tasks
- Sorting mail, filing and securely disposing of records
- Identifying and managing incorrectly categorised applications
- Completing data verification, image enhancement, pre-print assurance and quality authorisation activities
- Assisting with other administrative and production duties as required

You will receive training across a variety of duties and will need to be comfortable moving between tasks according to operational requirements. Some work can be repetitive and may involve lifting, walking or standing for extended periods.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

- Robust attention to detail and accuracy




- Good IT literacy and confidence using Microsoft applications and workplace technology
- An understanding of the importance of secure records management
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Personal accountability and a responsive approach to your work

You must be an Australian Citizen and meet pre-employment screening requirements. You will also require a Baseline Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
