Their renewables capability is growing rapidly across Australia, and they’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support an expanding energy transition pipeline. What you’ll be doing

- Preparing utility-scale solar farm designs using advanced PV modelling software such as PVCase or Helios 3D
- Supporting projects across the full lifecycle, including feasibility, concept design, development support, owner’s engineering and detailed design
- Producing engineering deliverables such as drawings, design reports and cable sizing calculations
- Working with the team to assemble complete design packages for each submission stage
- Applying your engineering knowledge, tools and technical standards to deliver compliant designs
- Leading the engineering effort on projects, including preparing detailed documentation and providing technical oversight to team members
- Managing assigned projects, tasks and design processes to meet agreed budget, quality and timeframe targets
- Reviewing and quality checking models,



calculations and deliverables to ensure project requirements and client objectives are met
- Leading interdisciplinary coordination and technical issue resolution
- Liaising with other disciplines to ensure requirements are clearly understood, and managing scope and changes in scope as they arise

What you’ll bring

- 7 years of engineering design experience in renewable energy projects, including 2 years in PV design
- 2 years of hands‑on experience with PVCase, Helios 3D and/or PVSyst
- Experience with CAD software, CYMCAP, ETAP and Revit
- A strong track record preparing engineering design packages, including drawings, reports, datasheets, MTOs, BOMs, layouts and schematics
- Working knowledge of the codes and standards relevant to the solar sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solid mathematical skills applied to engineering calculations
- A knack for finding innovative solutions to technical problems

Highly regarded

- Familiarity with the Australian solar energy sector
- Consulting experience on Australian solar or other power projects
- Professional registration or membership with a leading engineering body, such as Engineers Australia
- Experience in utility‑scale solar and BESS projects, from concept and development through to owner’s engineer and detailed design delivery
- Design and drafting skills
- Python scripting to automate tasks
