Gym Manager & Casual Boxing Coaches | Boxing Cartel

A hands-on leadership position combining some group coaching with oversight of the facility, membership enquiries, sales, retention and team coordination. You'll report to the owner and receive training in Boxing Cartel's systems.

Key responsibilities

- Create a welcoming, respectful community and build genuine relationships with members.
- Coach selected boxing-based group classes safely and consistently with our programming.
- Oversee facility readiness, cleanliness, equipment care and daily operational standards.
- Prepare coach rosters, organise shift cover and support staff performance.
- Manage enquiries, inductions, 21-Day Kickstart follow-ups and membership conversions.
- Support member retention, monitor growth and communicate updates to the owner.
- Seek owner approval for significant or unfamiliar decisions initially,



gaining independence as trust and capability develop.

About you

- Respectful, an excellent communicator and highly organised.
- Dependable, coachable, positive and able to take initiative.
- Previous management experience is not essential.
