Westpac Bank is building a reusable Knowledge Agents capability to help frontline employees find accurate, secure and trusted answers. We are seeking a Lead AI Scientist who blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to shape the Consumer knowledge agent roadmap.

You will lead complex retrieval, grounding and agent-design decisions, recruit and coach a growing team, and ensure solutions meet privacy, security and risk controls in a regulated banking setting.
