As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, calm and professional environment. You will work closely with our Principal Dentist, Dental Hygienists & Therapist, Dental Assistants and Practice Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of reception and the delivery of a seamless patient journey.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their responsibilities, managing competing priorities and providing thoughtful, personalised service.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional reception experience.
- Manage incoming calls, patient enquiries and correspondence.
- Coordinate appointments, treatment bookings, cancellations and waitlists.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation and practice management system information.
- Support treatment-plan coordination and follow up outstanding treatment in a professional, patient-focused manner.
- Manage patient recalls and assist with continuity of care.
- Process payments, health fund claims and daily financial transactions.
- Coordinate specialist referrals, dental laboratory work and relevant patient documentation.
- Prepare and review daily appointment schedules to support efficient practice operations.




- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold privacy requirements.

- Experience in private dental practice is highly regarded, particularly familiarity with dental terminology, HICAPS, health fund claims, patient recalls and treatment-plan coordination.
