An exciting opportunity has come up with a well-established global fintech business looking for an experienced Mobility Manager to join its Sydney team on a 12-month fixed-term contract,
with a view for the role to become permanent.
Working closely with the broader People team, you'll look after mobility across APAC while supporting international moves across the wider business. It's a hands‑on role with plenty of variety, where you'll be working with employees, senior stakeholders and external partners to make international moves as seamless as possible.
We're looking for someone who enjoys the operational side of mobility, builds strong relationships and genuinely cares about delivering a great employee experience.
About the role:
- Look after international relocations, employee transfers and short-term assignments across multiple countries.
- Support new hires relocating from overseas, as well as existing employees with immigration and visa requirements.
- Be the main point of contact for employees throughout their move, making sure they feel informed and supported.
- Work closely with HR, Recruitment, Finance, Payroll and Legal teams to coordinate international moves.
- Manage relationships with external immigration, tax and relocation providers.
- Provide practical advice on mobility matters, including more complex cases and compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes,
improve employee experience and make better use of technology.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in global mobility, ideally gained within an in‑house environment.
- Experience managing international relocations and mobility cases from start to finish.
- A good understanding of immigration, visa requirements, international assignments and mobility‑related tax considerations.
- Exposure to APAC markets would be a real advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities.
- Someone confident working with different stakeholders, from employees through to senior leadership.
- A proactive, practical approach and a genuine interest in improving how things are done.
- You'll be joining a busy international setting, so being adaptable, approachable and comfortable working across different time zones will be important.
Why consider this opportunity?
- Join an established global business with a collaborative People team.
- Plenty of exposure to regional and global stakeholders.
- A varied role where you'll have real ownership of your work.
- Sydney CBD location
If you're an experienced mobility professional who enjoys working in a global environment and is open to a new opportunity, I'd love to hear from you.
