Programmed Maintenance Services – Gatton QLD

Programmed are seeking 2 reliable and motivated Cleaners to join our team at a correctional facility in Gatton, Queensland.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Your duties will include:

- Cleaning accommodation units, offices, amenities, kitchens and common areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning products and hygiene supplies.
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Following workplace health and safety, hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Following all site procedures and security requirements.

About You

- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean environments.




- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a respectful manner.
- The ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality and comply with site procedures.
- Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning equipment (preferred).
- Must successfully pass the required security screening and checks.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Must be comfortable working throughout a secure facility, including designated areas where inmates are present.
- Must be willing to follow all site-specific safety and security protocols.
