A veterinary practice in Shellharbour is seeking a reliable Locum Veterinarian for ongoing coverage. Monday–Friday availability is preferred, but a few days per week would also be welcomed.
What’s on offer:
- Ongoing work, ideally Monday–Friday
- Flexible option for a few days per week
- Sole charge
- Consults of 20–30 minutes
- Routine surgery, including dog and cat desexings, lump removals, stitch-ups and Grade 1–4 dentals with dental X-rays
- General X-rays
- No weekends, public holidays or after-hours
- No overnight patients; emergencies are referred to external hospitals
Requirements:
- BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility) in NSW
- Confident working sole charge
- Competent performing routine surgery independently, including desexings and dentals
- Confident with general practice consults and radiography
- Reliable, qualified, and adaptable
