CareMonitor is an award-winning Australian health-tech company transforming healthcare through connected digital solutions. As the winner of the Australian Digital Health Agency Innovation Challenge and a featured AFR Fast Starters company, we're building next-generation healthcare software that improves lives and drives better healthcare outcomes. Our clinical software is used by public and private hospitals, health insurers and other large healthcare organisations to help deliver coordinated care outside traditional hospital settings.

The opportunity

We are looking for a commercially minded, highly capable operator who can take complex and ambiguous problems, create structure and drive them through to successful outcomes.

Around 75% of the role will focus on operational execution, with 25% focused on strategy, commercial analysis and governance. You will work across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Clinical, giving you broad exposure to how a growing technology company is run.

What you'll do

- Own and drive important cross-functional projects.
- Build effective operating rhythms, priorities, KPIs and accountability.
- Identify operational risks, bottlenecks and dependencies before they affect delivery.
- Improve coordination and execution across the leadership team.
- Support the CEO with commercial, financial and strategic analysis.
- Act as a trusted adviser and sounding board to the CEO.
- Represent the CEO in commercial or strategic discussions where specifically delegated.

Who we're looking for

Ideally,



you will have 6+ years of qualified experience, including:

- 3+ years in management consulting, transaction advisory, accounting, investment banking or a similar rigorous professional environment; and
- subsequent experience in strategy, operations or a hands-on role within an SME, scale-up or start-up.

You don't need to have been a Chief of Staff before.

What matters is that you have:

- exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
- strong commercial judgement;
- a track record of personally driving projects through to outcomes;
- confidence working with senior executives;
- high ownership, sound judgement and low ego.

Healthcare, health-tech or B2B SaaS experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Location & remuneration

Sydney preferred | Remote working
$150,000–$180,000 + superannuation, depending on experience.

Exceptional interstate candidates will also be considered.
