Head of Product & Innovation

$180,000 - $200,000 + Super.

Own end-to-end product leadership across an Australia-wide business.

Build the global product roadmap, bring recent products to market, improve the existing portfolio, partner with customers on innovation, and build out the product & R&D; function.

Must-Haves

- Proven product management / product leadership experience (not pure engineering).
- Must have owned roadmaps, prioritisation, stage-gate processes, and commercial outcomes.
- Experience with industrial / physical products (mechanical preferred, some electrical useful).
- B2B or industrial environment essential. Mining/resources is a plus but not mandatory.




- Track record of bringing new products to market and optimising existing portfolios (NPD
- Strong commercial mindset: translates technical features into clear customer value and revenue impact.

Strongly Preferred

- Experience managing or building small R&D; / product teams.
- Exposure to intellectual property (patents, trademarks, IP register) valuable but secondary to commercial product experience.
- Customer-facing innovation work (Voice of Customer, lead customer partnerships).
- Experience with outsourced manufacturing / supplier collaboration on product design.
