A skilled social worker to join our small practice specialising in addiction treatment. Working with a diverse range of patients with complex mental and physical health issues.

Seeking casual social workers to join our small and passionate team. We are looking for native Nepali and Farsi speaking, social worker to join our team on a casual basis to help support our diverse patient base. We are a general practice specialising in addiction medicine supporting a wide range of patient from various backgrounds and social needs. Our team includes GPs, public health physicians, addictions specialists, nurses, drug and alcohol counsellor and an admin team.

Our cohort of patients include groups culturally and linguistically diverse individuals.



We are looking to run regular drop in social work clinics to support our patients. In order to best meet their individual cultural and linguistic needs we are looking to hire both Nepali and Farsi speaking social workers who will be able to provide culturally appropriate care and help us better engage with our patients, their families and their community as a whole.

The right applicant will share our passion for person-centred care that meets each individual where they are without judgement or prejudice.

The role is a casual/part time position 1-2 days a month. The role would involve organising and running drop in clinics one to two times a month. The support will range from risk management, life skill building, support with community engagement and family support for our patient's extended family/friends systems. Our social worker will work closely with our team to enable us to manage their addiction treatment in the most effective way possible.

Experience in Drug and Alcohol is preferred but not required.
