FRC Design and Construction Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based design and construction company providing building design, architectural documentation and construction services.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, technical documentation and construction plans to support the delivery of building projects.

The role involves working collaboratively with building designers, engineers, contractors and other construction professionals to ensure that architectural documentation meets project specifications, applicable building regulations and relevant Australian Standards.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong technical drafting skills, experience using AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent software, and a sound understanding of building design and construction documentation.

Salary: AUD $80,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Develop and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD,



Revit and other relevant drafting software.
- Assist architects and building designers in preparing design concepts, working drawings and technical specifications.
- Prepare drawings and supporting documentation for development applications and building approvals.
- Interpret architectural plans, building specifications, the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, builders and other construction professionals.
- Conduct site measurements and verify existing building conditions when required.
- Review and update drawings based on project requirements, design changes and consultant feedback.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate project drawing records and documentation.

Skill & Experience

Qualifications and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, Building Design or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent drafting software.
- Understanding of construction methods, building materials and architectural detailing.
- Knowledge of Australian building regulations and relevant industry standards is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Valuable communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
