I am looking for an independent personal care worker to partner with our family long-term to support my lovely Mum, Marlene, at home in Bicton.

Because of mum's specific Support at Home plan requirements, you must hold a nursing qualification, or a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support / Aged Care, or equivalent.

Schedule & Roster Growth:

- Immediate: 2 hours, one morning a week.
- Short-Term: Increasing to 2 hours, two mornings a week once a comfortable routine is established.
- Mid-term: Increasing up to 10+ hours a week as Mum's care needs progress.
- Platform: Managed via Mable.

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive carer to support Mum with her morning routines. This includes providing monitoring and prompts for personal care, assisting with light mobility and conditioning exercises (such as accompanying her on local walks),



and providing cognitive engagement and memory-support activities. You will also be providing vital carer respite for my Dad, who is Marlene's primary carer, during these hours.

Who we are looking for:
Mum has Alzheimer's, so long-term consistency is vital, as is experience working with people with Alzheimer’s or dementia. We are looking for a mature carer who wants a client they can stay with for at least the next couple of years.
