Belinda’s Better Care is growing, and we’re looking for caring, reliable and compassionate Casual Support Workers to join our team!

We support people living with disability and older people to maintain their independence, dignity, choice and quality of life. If you’re passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in your local community, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants and aged care clients, helping them live as independently as possible.

Duties may include:

- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care.
- Providing domestic assistance and meal preparation.
- Supporting community access, appointments and social activities.
- Assisting clients to achieve their individual goals.
- Providing companionship and encouraging independence.
- Delivering respectful, protected and compassionate support in clients’ homes and the community.

Casual shifts are available across Wangaratta and surrounding areas.

- Passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling lives.

Essential requirements:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Current driver's licence.
- Access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.

Desirable:

- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Ageing or a related field, or willingness to undertake relevant study where appropriate.
- Previous experience in disability support or aged care.

Pay Rate

Pay will be in accordance with the applicable award, classification, casual loading and any relevant penalty rates.
