Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models and support data architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage, Erwin or ER/Studio, Power BI or Tableau, and a solid understanding of relational databases and Microsoft Azure.The role will involve working closely with data engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and analytics teams to ensure data is structured, integrated, governed, and available for reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models using Erwin or ER/Studio.
- Work with IBM DataStage for data integration, ETL, and data transformation requirements.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective data structures and models.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, entities, relationships, keys, and data definitions.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to support data initiatives.
- Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle SQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Support data warehouse and analytical data modelling requirements.
- Work with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure-based data environments.
- Support reporting and analytics requirements using Power BI or Tableau.
- Ensure data models follow appropriate standards for data quality,



consistency, scalability, and governance.
- Document data models, data flows, metadata, business definitions, and technical specifications.
- Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Solid experience as a Data Modeller / Data Modeling Specialist.
- Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.
- Strong proficiency in Erwin OR ER/Studio.
- Experience with Power BI OR Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of at least one of the following:
- SQL
- Oracle SQL
- PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of:
- Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modelling
- Relational Database Design
- Data Warehousing
- ETL / Data Integration
- Data Structures and Relationships
- Data Governance and Data Quality

Desirable / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with any of the following would be advantageous but is not mandatory:

- SAP PowerDesigner
- Sparx Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA)
- Informatica
- Talend

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
