Forklift Operator / Labourer

Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and store materials.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and company policies while operating equipment.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
- Organize and maintain inventory in warehouses, storage facilities, or designated areas.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and company objectives.

Qualifications

- Required:

- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience in forklift operation and manual labor.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 20kg and prolonged periods of activity.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory documentation and handling instructions.





- Preferred:

- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar setting.
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Day-to-day

- Begin your shift with a team briefing to review safety protocols and daily objectives.
- Operate forklifts to transport materials, load/unload trucks, and organize inventory.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as sorting, packaging, and stacking materials.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Monitor the workspace for potential hazards and take proactive measures to address them.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values teamwork and respect.

Shift Times and Pay

- Available Shifts:

- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

- Pay Range: $38 - $44 per hour (Dependent on Shift).
