Retention Bonus: $1,500 after 3 months + $1,500 after 6 months
Roster: Mon - Wed: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm | Thurs - Fri: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our kitchen operations at an aged care residence in Horsham.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a Chef who is ready to take ownership of kitchen operations, lead and develop a team, and drive high standards across food quality, service and compliance. More than a traditional Chef role, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for residents while supporting and motivating your team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the kitchen team, driving performance, engagement and accountability
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, food preparation, presentation and service
- Manage food and labour costs to achieve budget targets
- Order, control and maintain stock inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards
- Oversee bulk meal production and preparation of texture-modified meals
