Less Toowoomba is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Pharmacist to join our professional and friendly team. Working closely with the Pharmacy Owner, Pharmacist Manager, and Retail Manager, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding healthcare services while supporting the commercial success of the pharmacy. About the Role As a Retail Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the professional and ethical operation of the pharmacy, ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and personalised healthcare advice and services. Your responsibilities will include:

Professional Services Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Providing medication counselling and patient education.

Supplying and advising on Schedule medicines and general pharmacy products. Delivering healthcare advice and recommendations tailored to individual patient needs. Liaising with doctors, allied health professionals, aged care providers, and community organisations.

Maintaining current clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development and continuing education. Supporting sales growth through product recommendations and health-related advice. Assisting with promotional activities, catalogue campaigns, and supplier initiatives.

Ensuring the pharmacy is well-presented, organised, and compliant with Pharmacy 4 Less merchandising standards. Ensuring compliance with:





Pharmacy Board of Australia requirements Good Pharmaceutical Practice standards PSA Code of Ethics

QCPP standards and procedures Relevant State and Commonwealth legislation

Maintaining accurate records and handling Schedule and Dangerous Drugs in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensuring dispensary operations meet all professional, legal, and safety obligations. Team Leadership & Support

Providing guidance and support to pharmacy assistants, dispensary technicians, and other team members. Contributing positively to team culture and staff development. Assisting with communication, training, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Working collaboratively with management to achieve both healthcare and business objectives. What We're Looking

For Essential Requirements Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service focus. Sound clinical and counselling skills. Solid knowledge of pharmacy products and medications.

Desirable Attributes Community pharmacy experience. Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Positive attitude and commitment to team success. Commercial awareness and an interest in growing both professional services and retail sales.
