The tolled express lanes run adjacent to the general-purpose lanes on I-77 between uptown Charlotte and Mooresville. Job Description

I-77

The I-77 Express Lanes project represents the first P3 project in the state of North Carolina and will provide significant infrastructure improvements years sooner than otherwise possible if relied solely on public funds. A Cintra-led team was selected to develop the 26-mile project which runs between the junction with I-277 in Charlotte and NC-150 in Iredell County. The project consists of constructing current express lanes, converting the current High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes to Express Lanes, repaving the general-purpose lanes and implementing a dynamic pricing toll system. Once complete,



the project will relieve congestion and enhance mobility by increasing existing road capacity.

Your next calling:

As theLead Maintenance Technician, you will have theopportunityto assist the Maintenance Supervisor in all facets of the maintenance operation and will ensure that the highway operates safely. Operates automotive and maintenance equipment to transport material, equipment and maintenance personnel as well as performing skilled highway maintenance duties. Also, participates in the maintenance of buildings. Works with maintenance personnel, receives assignments from the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager and supervises personnel on various job assignments. You will guide or train less experienced personnel on equipment operation and roadway maintenance.

Functions key to success:

- Assists the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor in performing the daily roadway survey by making inspections of maintenance section
