Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Purchasing Officer for an initial short-term contract, with possibility of extension.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on purchasing professional to support hospital operations by ensuring goods and services are ordered efficiently and delivered when needed. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role and be comfortable working in a quick-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Process purchase orders and manage purchasing requests.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing and coordinate
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update internal systems.
- Assist with invoice and purchase order matching, resolving discrepancies where required.
- Ensure purchasing activities follow organisational policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing function as required.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
