The gastro pub will feature a relaxed bar, casual dining areas, and live entertainment, closing no later than midnight. They're seeking a Duty Manager for the pub operation on a permanent basis, The role operates on a rotating roster across five shifts per week—one day shift, two mid-shifts, and two closes—with the venue extending trading hours to open Monday and Tuesday from 4pm. This is an opportunity to help establish a venue with genuine community spirit from day one.

Preferred Requirements





- Proven experience as a Duty Manager or equivalent supervisory role in a hospitality venue
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Comfortable working rotating shifts including evenings and closes, with flexibility to support opening hours
- Experience managing bar operations, customer service standards, and health and safety compliance
- Willingness to mentor and develop junior staff members

Preferred Qualifications

- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification current and valid
- Hospitality management qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Food safety or venue management certification is advantageous
