The role

We're looking for a Technical Sales Representative / Merchandiser to manage and grow our key merchant accounts across Victoria, particularly within the Bowens, Mitre 10 (IHG) and HBT networks and our independent partners.

This is a dual role. You'll be the go-to person for each store and you'll also make sure our products are visible, well presented and well understood on the shop floor. You'll spend most of your time on the road, working directly with store teams and trade customers.

What you'll do

Build strong relationships with trade and retail partners and act as the main contact for each store

Track account performance and put plans in place to meet and beat sales targets

Find opportunities to expand ranges,



upsell and cross-sell

Run regular store visits to check stock levels, POS compliance and display presentation

Train and engage store staff on product knowledge and key selling points

Work with marketing to deliver promotions in store

Report on account performance, merchandising activity, competitor activity and market trends

Learn to deliver installation training, and run our exhibitions and industry events

About you

At least 2 years' experience in sales or merchandising

Proven track record managing retail or trade accounts

Construction industry experience; high-performance building knowledge is a big plus

Experience with Bowens, Mitre 10 or similar hardware networks is highly regarded

Confident with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred

Current driver's licence

Organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing competing priorities

A genuine interest in building better, and the drive to help change how Australia builds
