We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at Monash Gardens. The Opportunity You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, protected, and welcoming environment by cleaning resident rooms and communal areas as directed by the Facility Manager, working a 9:00am to 5:00pm roster across a fortnightly schedule. Your Responsibilities
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Complete daily cleaning tasks using the electronic cleaning system (tablet)
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and laundry areas
• Perform floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, carpet maintenance, and bathroom cleaning
• Follow infection control procedures, including the correct use of colour-coded cleaning equipment
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OH&S; requirements




• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning trolleys are stored safely
• Support accreditation and compliance requirements, including unannounced audits
• Monitor and maintain cleaning stock levels and report shortages as required About You
• Experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
• Computer literacy to report incidents and work completed via IPad
• A caring, respectful, and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check ( Mandatory).
