ACR Air Conditioning Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our team in Sutherland, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work with leading air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As an Air Conditioning Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing air conditioning units for our valued clients. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute to the reliability of our service delivery across the region.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and servicing on air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Diagnose faults and technical issues with air conditioning units using diagnostic tools and equipment

Conduct repairs and replacements of components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical elements

Install new air conditioning systems and refrigeration units in residential and commercial properties

Conduct inspections and testing of systems to verify compliance with safety standards and regulations

Maintain detailed records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each job

Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs, repair costs, and maintenance recommendations

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices

Respond to emergency service calls and prioritise urgent repairs when required

What we're looking for

Current and valid air conditioning and refrigeration licence, or equivalent qualification recognised in NSW

Proven experience as an air conditioning service technician or in a related refrigeration role

Solid understanding of electrical systems, thermodynamics, and refrigeration principles

Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment specific to air conditioning systems





Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport

Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces and at heights where necessary

Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

Preference for candidates with experience in commercial and industrial air conditioning systems
