Mine Geologist Needed for Iron Ore Project

Your new companyYou will be joining a leading mining organisation operating a large-scale open pit operation in Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established site-based geology team on a long-term contract.
Your new roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced Mine Geologist to join the team on an initial 18-month contract, working an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth (Tuesday to Tuesday).In this role, you will support day-to-day mine geology activities within a large open pit iron ore operation, working closely with the wider technical and operational teams.
What you'll need to succeed

- Previous Mine Geologist experience within iron ore
- Strong experience working in an open pit mining setting
- 5+ years of geology experience, although candidates with less experience will be considered




- Experience using Vulcan or similar geological/mining software highly regarded
- Current Class C driver's licence
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Geology
