Temporary 4 week, 3-Day Nanny – Glebe NSW

Our lovely Glebe family is seeking a warm, nurturing and experienced temporary nanny to care for their two young boys, aged 3 years and 1 year.

The family is looking for a reliable, patient and engaging nanny who can confidently care for both children, supporting their daily routines while creating a safe, happy and loving setting.

The role involves preparing meals, bottles and snacks, assisting with naps and nappy changes, and keeping the boys entertained through age-appropriate play, activities, walks and outings.

The ideal nanny will be confident managing the different developmental needs of a toddler and a young child, providing plenty of opportunities for play, exploration and learning while maintaining a calm and nurturing approach.

The family would also appreciate assistance with light child-related household duties, including tidying up after meals and activities and keeping the children's play areas organised.

In addition to the regular Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday schedule, there may be opportunities for additional daytime care and evening babysitting throughout November and December, with further dates potentially becoming available.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

- Providing warm, nurturing and attentive care
- Confidently supervising and caring for both children
- Preparing and serving age-appropriate meals, bottles and snacks




- Supporting the children's usual routines, including naps and bedtime when required
- Nappy changes, toileting assistance and maintaining good hygiene
- Planning and engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities and developmental play
- Encouraging creativity, exploration and learning through play
- Taking the children for walks and local outings
- Providing comfort, patience and reassurance when needed
- Tidying up after meals, playtime and activities
- Keeping children's play areas, toys and belongings clean and organised
- Maintaining open communication with the parents regarding the children's routines and wellbeing

To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude and qualifications:

- Warm, nurturing, patient and reliable personality
- Previous professional nanny and/or childcare experience with toddlers and young children
- Confidence caring for two young children of different ages
- Sound understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Experience supporting toddler routines, including meals, naps and toileting
- Ability to confidently provide sole-charge care for both children
- Energetic, engaging and genuinely passionate about working with children
- Flexible and adaptable to the family's routines and additional care requirements
- Reliable availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Non-smoker
- A minimum of two child-related references
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, including infant CPR
- Current National Police Check
- Excellent communication and English skills
