Edge Early Learning Maryborough Centre is in the process of transitioning to new ownership, so it's a great time to join us Be part of our next chapter as we continue to care for our loyal community but evolve our service in a new partnership with Goodstart Early Learning.

As our Lead Educator, you'll mentor and support your team, create engaging learning experiences, work alongside an experienced Centre Director and Educational Leader, and help shape a positive centre culture.

Our newly renovated service with natural spaces is waiting for our next champion educator.

About the Role:

- Lead, coach and mentor educators.
- Deliver engaging educational programs aligned to the EYLF.
- Build strong relationships with children and families.
- Create safe, inclusive learning environments.
- Support continuous improvement and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or recognised equivalent at Children's Services Employee Level 4+)
OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with the required long day care experience

Experience (within a long day care setting)

- For Lead Educators you need to hold a Diploma and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Lead Educator role.




- For Educators we are looking for Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma or working towards Diploma.
- Graduate Diploma/Master of Teaching: 3-4 years' Educator experience or 2+ years' Lead Educator experience in Australian long day care.
- Experience leading a room in a long day care setting
- Confidence mentoring other educators
- Solid understanding of the NQF and EYLF
- Passion for creating engaging learning environments

Compliance Documentation

- Working with Children Check, mandatory
- National Child Safety Training (GECCKO)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
