Factory Floor Manager - Aluminium Windows

Stafford's Window Systems makes aluminium windows and doors in Bega for builders and owners across the Far South Coast and the Snowys. We have about $2 million of secured work on the books, and we plan to double capacity over the next 12 months, including a new purpose-built factory at Kalaru.

We're looking for an experienced floor manager to run our lead production team on the factory floor. You'll work alongside our Managing Director, who runs our second team, to lift output and set the standard for the whole factory.

What you'll do

- Lead a small production team, on the tools and on the floor, every day
- Plan the day's work and hit daily output targets
- Hold quality: build to the job pack, check before it leaves
- Train and develop newer team members

- Help shape the layout and workflow of the new factory

What we're looking for

- Experience making aluminium windows and doors, ideally as a leading hand, supervisor or floor manager
- Someone who leads from the front and is comfortable having the hard conversations
- Valuable with numbers: you know what a good day looks like and how to get one
- AWS / Vantage / ThermalHEART experience a strong plus
- Current driver's licence; forklift ticket an advantage

What we offer

- Full time, Monday to Friday, Tarraganda Lane, Bega
- A full order book and a growing business backed by a local group
- A real say in how the new factory is built
