h2 Vision Centres is an Optometry practice founded by A/Prof Leo Hartley and Mark Hartley, located in Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast. The practice features the latest optometric technology in a laid back but clinical environment and has a well established Dry Eye Clinic. The professional, caring, and fun nature of the practice has enhanced our growth.

About the role

The role is full time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will work with patients and team in a laid back but clinical environment with the latest optometric technology.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct eye examinations with 30 min appointments
- Provide support for Dry Eye Clinic procedures
- Perform OCT and OPTOS pretests
- Conduct minor procedures and therapeutic examinations
- Refer to professional partners and report for GPs and ophthalmologists
- Build and maintain referral relationships across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane




- Assist with dispensing as required, including cash sales, EFTPOS, HICAPS and Medicare receipting
- Sell frames, sunglasses, and optical lenses as directed by qualified dispensing staff
- Attend staff training and conference meetings locally and interstate
- Maintain opening and closing store procedures and ongoing CPD

About you

- Qualified in therapeutics
- Experience with paediatrics and special needs children
- Ability to demonstrate sales, service and initiative in a growing practice
- Able to work with a small team under the direction of the owner
- Committed to ongoing education and CPD
- Dry Eye experience preferable but not essential as training will be provided
- Working with a relaxed skilled team
