The Opportunity

Our client is an established manufacturing business with operations across Australia. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their friendly, collaborative team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, you will take ownership of an allocated group of weekly payrolls across multiple sites. This offers variety and complexity, with exposure to different enterprise agreements, rosters and shift arrangements, supported by an experienced team. SAP SuccessFactors experience is essential.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

- Processing allocated weekly payrolls accurately and within required deadlines
- Interpreting and applying enterprise agreements, rosters and shift conditions




- Reviewing and interfacing time and attendance data
- Setting up new employees and maintaining accurate employee records
- Processing payroll adjustments and termination payments
- Running payroll reports and meeting pay event submission deadlines
- Supporting the wider team with payroll administration and processing as required

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- High-volume payroll processing experience within a medium to large organisation
- Experience working with enterprise agreements and varied pay conditions, ideally within a manufacturing or shift-based environment
- Experience using SAP, SuccessFactors is essential
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing processing deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to support your colleagues
