Assistant Property Manager – Inspections & Leasing (Field Based)

We're looking for a reliable, well-organised person to be the face of SYPM out in the field. Most of your time will be on the road conducting routine inspections and running open homes, with support from our senior property manager. It suits someone starting a career in property management or an experienced leasing person who prefers fieldwork to sitting at a desk. This is a full-time, 38-hour position worked Tuesday to Saturday. Because open homes often run in the afternoons and on Saturdays, you'll have every Monday off to balance the out-of-hours work.

Key responsibilities

Carry out routine inspections and write clear, photo-supported reports

Run open homes and private viewings, including Saturdays and some afternoons

Help prepare recent listings (photos, property details, advertising copy)

Process tenancy applications and help check and recommend applicants

Complete entry and exit condition reports

Report maintenance issues and follow up with tradespeople

Provide general admin and leasing support to the property management team

About you

Current Queensland Registration Certificate (Property Management)



or Real Estate Licence, or willing to obtain one

Current driver's licence and a reliable, presentable vehicle

Confident and professional with owners, tenants and the public

Organised, punctual and able to manage your own day

Good written communication and attention to detail

Comfortable with technology (property management software, smartphone or tablet reporting)

Previous real estate, leasing or customer service experience is a plus but not essential

We manage a growing portfolio of more than 200 properties across Logan, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and outer-metro Brisbane. We're a small, hands-on team that values doing things properly: clear communication, thorough reporting and looking after both owners and tenants.

$60,000 -65,000 base salary + superannuation

Full time, 38 hours a week, Tuesday to Saturday with Mondays off

Support and training from an experienced principal with 15+ years in the industry
