A fantastic locum opportunity is available for aCardiac Sonographerto support a well-established regional hospital clinic for the months of November and December 2026.

This locum contract provides an excellent option for Victorian-based sonographers seeking flexible locum work with a robust hourly rate.

$105-$110 per hour + Super

Clinic hours -08:30 – 15:30

Travel – allowance up to $100 per shift / block

Accommodation – accommodation will be provided for the night before shift.

Opportunity to supplement existing work with regular locum sessions

Qualifications and Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound qualification





Current registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to liaise with hospital personnel, private referrers, contracted agencies, clients and family members

Demonstrated autonomy and a high standard of clinical reasoning skills in the performance of echocardiography procedures
