About the RoleWe are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to support the financial operations of an established Australian business operating across the wine industry.

This is a flexible, part-time remote role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail and is comfortable managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration.

Previous experience in the Australian wine industry is highly desirable,

Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Reconciliations

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
- Review and accurately allocate financial transactions.
- Upload and process supplier invoices for approval.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

Invoicing & Financial Administration

- Prepare monthly client invoices, including management fees, commissions and expense recoveries.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, GST tracking and BAS preparation.
- Prepare regular financial updates for management.





Systems & Process Support

- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities.
- Assist with improving and streamlining financial administration processes.
- Support financial reporting and other ad hoc administration tasks.

About You
- Experience in Australian bookkeeping and financial administration.
- Sound understanding of Australian GST, BAS and bank reconciliations.
- Solid Excel and accounting software skills.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM would be highly regarded.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience in the Australian wine industry preferred, alternatively food and beverage, FMCG or hospitality.
