About The Role
LGT Bank is seeking experienced Business Analysts to join its expanding Delivery function. These are 12-month fixed-term contract opportunities supporting strategic change and mandatory initiatives across the wealth management business. You will work at the centre of the change agenda, helping translate business needs into clearly defined, sprint-ready requirements and supporting the design, delivery and release of effective solutions across business platforms.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project managers and technology teams, you will help shape solutions from discovery through to testing and implementation. The role suits a methodical and collaborative analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, using data to inform decisions and delivering improvements in a regulated, client-focused environment.
Relevant initiatives may include regulatory and compliance change, AML reforms, financial products, digital onboarding, data-focused projects, performance reporting, process optimisation and scale or efficiency improvements in client-facing advisory environments.
Qualifications A degree is required. Candidates should bring at least three years of experience as a Business Analyst, or five or more years of wealth management experience that includes business analysis responsibilities. Experience with wealth advisory or private banking platforms is strongly valued, and Avaloq experience is highly desirable.
You will have practical experience in process mapping, requirements gathering and user story development, as well as familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks. Proficiency in JIRA and advanced Excel skills are expected. An understanding of wealth management products and services is highly desirable. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and change management methodologies will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is resilient,
organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Clear communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders across business and technology teams are important to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs, prioritise initiatives and resolve issues across multiple workstreams. Gather, analyse and document requirements, translating them into clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria. Work with business owners and senior analysts to break epics into manageable stories and ensure shared understanding of scope and expected outcomes.
Support project managers with planning and implementation of business and technical work. Guide developers and testers throughout sprint cycles, helping teams stay focused on sprint goals and stakeholder value. Contribute through definition, design and testing, maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases and delivery outcomes.
Prepare stakeholder communications, facilitate walkthroughs and demonstrations, and support training and business procedure documentation. Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of business cases or lean canvases for future initiatives.
Benefits
Join a growing team contributing to meaningful business and regulatory change within a globally connected wealth management organisation. LGT Wealth Management is committed to employee development, with development plans tailored to your role and future career path. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with business and technology colleagues and support initiatives that strengthen services for clients.
