An established multi-franchise automotive dealership in South Australia's Riverland region is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the business into its next stage of growth.

With a long history in the local community, the dealership has built a profitable operation across new and used vehicle sales, service and parts. A change in ownership will bring fresh investment in the business's future, along with an opportunity to build on its existing foundations.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine dealership leadership position, suited to someone who understands the commercial and operational demands of running a successful automotive business.

The dealership currently sells approximately 40–50 new and used vehicles per month, with ambitions to increase volumes and strengthen performance across all departments.

You'll have the opportunity to review existing processes, develop the team and introduce improvements that support sustainable growth.

Your Responsibilities

- Take overall responsibility for dealership performance, profitability and day-to-day operations.

- Lead and develop the sales, service and parts functions.

- Drive new and used vehicle sales performance while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency and operational standards.

- Build a positive, accountable team culture.





- Establish clear business objectives and deliver against agreed performance targets.

About You

We're looking for an experienced automotive dealership leader who can balance commercial discipline with solid people management.

You may already be operating as a General Manager or Dealer Principal, or you could be a successful senior dealership manager ready to take the next step.

You'll bring sound financial and operational understanding, the ability to lead department managers and a practical approach to growing a business.

Importantly, you'll be comfortable taking responsibility for the entire operation rather than focusing on a single department.
