Role Description This is a part time, on-site Retail Sales / Social Media Assistant role based in Fitzroy, VIC. In this role, you will support day-to-day retail operations, including welcoming customers, providing product advice, processing sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring the store is clean and well-presented. You will assist with inventory tasks such as receiving stock, organizing back-of-house, and communicating customer feedback and trends to the team.

You will also help create and schedule social media content, capture in-store imagery and short videos, respond to comments and messages,



and support basic social media marketing activities aligned with brand guidelines and campaigns. Collaboration with the designer and wider team to reflect brand identity across the store experience and online channels is an important part of the role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and a customer-focused approach.
- Candidates should possess social media skills, including experience with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or similar, and an understanding of online audience engagement.
- Candidates should possess social media content creation and writing skills, including creating visual and written content that reflects brand tone and aesthetic.
- Candidates should possess social media marketing skills, including basic knowledge of posting strategies, hashtags, analytics, and campaign support.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience, ideally in fashion or lifestyle, is beneficial.
- Interest in contemporary fashion, streetwear, and brand storytelling, with a strong eye for style and detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Fitzroy, VIC, with flexibility for weekend or peak trading hours as needed.
- Reliable time management, willingness to learn, and capacity to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
