Our client is searching for a skilled Cook to join the busy kitchen at The Tropicana Hotel. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join a supportive team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation and cooking across the kitchen, including prep and grill cooking.

This is a kitchen that values quality and consistency, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute their skills and experience.

About the role

- Prepare and cook food according to menu requirements
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Assist with stock handling and maintaining a clean kitchen




- Support junior kitchen staff where required

About you

- Ability to work in a quick-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong focus on food quality and presentation
- Relevant cooking experience
- Relevant qualification or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications
