GBS Recruitment is seeking reliable, experienced and motivated workers to join our temporary recruitment pool for upcoming opportunities with local councils across Gippsland.

If you enjoy hands-on work, have experience operating outdoor maintenance equipment or working in civil, landscaping or council environments, this could be a great chance to put your skills to work locally.
Assignments may range from short-term placements to several weeks or longer, depending on operational requirements.

- Parks, Gardens & Open Space Maintenance
- Grass Cutting, Mowing & Vegetation Management
- Tree Crew & Arboriculture Support
- Urban Maintenance & General Labouring
- Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping
- Roadside Maintenance & General Outdoor Works

What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

- Operating ride-on mowers, brush cutters, edgers and other outdoor equipment
- Grass cutting, spraying, vegetation control and grounds maintenance
- Tree crew support, chainsaw operation and arboriculture
- Driving MR trucks, towing trailers and transporting equipment
- General labouring, landscaping, civil or local government maintenance
- Working safely in outdoor and operational environments

Essential Requirements
To be considered for these opportunities, you must hold:

- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence or higher
- Construction Induction White Card




- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to placement

Additional qualifications such as Traffic Management, Chainsaw, EWP, ChemCert or First Aid will be highly regarded.
We're looking for candidates who are reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable of undertaking outdoor work and available for temporary assignments.
