The property we are recruiting for is circa 4,500ha and located in the heart of the Central Highlands near Rolleston - 90km south of Springsure. It is a key part of their portfolio and recently benefitted from extensive upgrades to irrigation and water storage. With a robust focus on sustainable farming and continuous improvement, this is an environment where your input will directly impact long-term success.

The Role

This is your chance to take a step towards a management position, whilst working on a high-yielding property focused on cotton and rotational crops like sorghum, wheat, mung beans, and chickpeas. You will be exposed to all aspects of this farming operation - as well as utilise a modern fleet of John Deere and Case machinery.

Additional Key Responsibilities

- Operating farm machinery (Modern John Deere & Case) efficiently, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintaining strict Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards




- Supporting the maintenance of irrigation systems, farm channels, and general farming infrastructure.
- Playing a key role in rolling out crop management plans.
- Drive productivity with an eye toward performance bonuses tied to yield targets

Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a genuine passion for agriculture and machinery, always ready to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. With hands-on experience in broadacre farming, and machinery operation.
