Located in Landsdale, WA, the branch is growing rapidly and offers the opportunity to join a small, supportive team during a particularly busy period.

About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Valve Assembler / Fitter to join our client's team on a casual basis for an initial 3-month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results.

You will be responsible for assembling valves, actuators and associated components, carrying out fitting tasks and assisting with general warehouse duties when required. The successful applicant will be adaptable, detail-oriented and comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble industrial valves, actuators and associated accessories.

- Assemble extension fixtures, sensing devices and protective components.

- Assemble instrumentation, regulators and other mechanical components.





- Carry out fitting and assembly tasks in accordance with required specifications and quality standards.

- Assist with general warehouse duties, including material handling and moving stock as required.

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

- Work collaboratively with the team to meet operational requirements during a busy period.

Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current LF Forklift Licence – essential.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of mechanical assembly or fitting work.

- Electrical aptitude and the ability to work with mechanical and electrical components.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot practical issues.

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Positive communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

- The ability to work autonomously, manage tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

- A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to assist with warehouse duties when required.

Previous experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, valve assembly or a similar industrial workplace will be highly regarded.
