Kronk Civil Services is a locally owned and operated civil construction and earthworks company based in Mackay, delivering a range of civil, infrastructure and specialised projects across Mackay and the surrounding regions.

About the role

This is a hands-on role operating hydro excavation equipment across civil construction, utility and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

- Potholing and non-destructive digging
- Excavation for utilities, conduits, poles and other civil works
- Operating high-pressure water and vacuum systems
- Spoil management and disposal
- Daily pre-starts, equipment checks and basic maintenance
- General civil construction and site duties when required
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented truck and work area

About you

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and willing to get involved. Previous hydro excavation experience is preferred but not essential for the right person,



training will be provided to someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

- HC licence
- White Card
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Licensing assistance may be available for a willing and capable candidate.

Highly regarded:

- Construction or civil industry experience
- Experience working around underground services
- Additional plant or machinery tickets
- First Aid
