Most exterior cleaning jobs hand you a gutless pressure washer, a second-hand shirt and the same pay in year three as on day one. This isn’t that. What you’ll actually be doing





This isn’t standing on the end of a hose doing the same driveway forever. One day you’re soft washing a two-storey house, the next you’re restoring a filthy tile roof, then pressure cleaning a body corporate’s concrete or knocking out a commercial job with the crew. You’ll do roof cleaning on tile, painted tile and metal roofs (up to 10m and sometimes higher, with harnesses, anchors and proper fall protection), soft washing walls, eaves, fascias and gutter faces, pressure cleaning driveways, paths, decks, fences and retaining walls, and gutter and solar panel cleaning.

We’ll teach you the parts most operators never bother to: the right chemical mix for each surface, dwell times, running proportioners, protecting plants and water tanks, and setting up a job so it runs smooth from start to finish. Everything gets logged in ServiceM8 with before-and-after photos, so your work speaks for itself.

And you won’t be stuck at the bottom. Show us you can do the work and you’ll be running your own ute, truck or rig with an offsider, then leading commercial jobs and multiple crews.

Let’s be upfront: this is hard work

This job is physically demanding. You’ll be on dirty, flat, steep, single and two-storey roofs cleaning them, working in hard and awkward conditions, in the sun and the heat. You’ll get wet: wet boots, wet clothes, covered in water most days. If you can’t handle heights, this isn’t for you. You need to be comfortable and steady on a roof. Your pay grows as you do

- Technician: $35/hr from day one

- Running your own ute/truck/rig with an offsider: $40/hr (typically 6–12 months)

- Team leader, running commercial jobs and multiple crews: $45–$50+/hr (typically 18–24 months)

You start casual on full time hours for a 3-month probation, then move to full-time permanent. Your $35/hr stays the same when you go full-time. No drop in wages.

We run the best gear in the game

- Honda and Kohler-powered pressure washers with key start and remote control. These are the big boys,



ranging from 30–40+ lpm.

- 70 lpm softwash systems with proportioners, plus smaller 12V systems. No batch mixing. Everything runs on a proportioner, so you just turn a dial to choose the chemical strength.

- The best hoses and reels available. No cheap gear or rigs. We get the best of the best, we maintain it and look after it.

No underpowered rigs, no gear held together with tape and leaks everywhere. You’ll get through jobs faster and cleaner, and go home less wrecked.

Fully kitted out, head to toe

All uniforms and workwear supplied: shirts, pants, socks, boots, gloves, hats and the rest. You turn up, we’ve got you covered.

Who we’re looking for

- Experience in roof cleaning, soft washing or pressure cleaning is ideal, but we’ll train the right person. Attitude and work ethic matter most.

- No fear of heights. You need to be comfortable on steep two-storey roofs.

- Fit, high-energy and enthusiastic. You bring the energy at 6am, still have it at 3pm, and you’re happy to be wet and dirty all day.

- Under 90 kg. Tile roofs can only take so much weight, and we won’t risk cracked tiles on a customer’s roof, so this one is non-negotiable.

- Reliable, on time and good with customers

- Current driver’s licence (trailer experience a bonus)

- Working at heights ticket, or willing to get one
