Established in 1968, KB Logistics Pty Ltd is the largest road carrier of shipping containers between the Port of Melbourne and regional Victoria. It is a family-owned business and has been operated over four generation since its inception. Kreskas Bros initially started the business by transporting the produce between Shepparton and Melbourne’s wholesale fruit and vegetable market.

The business has expanded its service and now connect the regional Victoria with the rest of the world, delivering to and from the Melbourne wharf precinct on a daily basis using the fleet of vehicles. Our company also offers container pack, unpack, container storage for both general and refrigerated units as well as the hire and sale of empty 20-foot and 40-foot containers. Kreskas Bros’ AQIS-registered facility offers both ambient and refrigerated LCL storage.

Kreskas Bros is seeking a full time licensed Truck Driver on our site in Lemnos in Goulburn Valley, Victoria 3631. The salary offered is $79,423 per annum plus superannuation.



Job duties and responsibilities include:

- Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices.
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles.
- Transporting produce in bulk to designated locations.
- Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely.
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
- Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage.
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods, and obtaining certification of deliveries.
- Completing all required documents including reports and safety inspection checklists.

The applicant will have the following skills and experience:

- At least 2 years of work experience as a truck driver.
- Heavy vehicle licence.
- Relevant AQF Certificate II or III (preferred).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
