About the role

Pullella Earthmoving Pty Ltd is seeking a Labourer/HR Driver to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position that combines manual labour with heavy rigid vehicle operation. You will play role in supporting our earthmoving and civil construction operations, working on a wide range of projects. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage both physical tasks and light/heavy vehicle operation responsibilities effectively throughout each working day.

Key responsibilities

- Operate heavy rigid vehicles (HR flatbed trucks) to transport plant and equipment to and from project sites

- Perform manual labour duties including compacting, raking and shoveling as well as experience with water trucks, rollers & dinosaur water trucks

- Maintain accurate records via dockets and time sheets in accordance with company procedures

- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and roadworthy

- Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols

- Communicate effectively with Management, Supervisors and Team Members to coordinate daily tasks and resolve any issues promptly





- Support equipment maintenance by reporting any mechanical issues or damage to management

- Assist with general site tidiness when necessary.

What we're looking for

- A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license (manual) with a clean driving record

- Proven experience working as a labourer in construction, earthmoving or civil engineering environments

- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform demanding manual work in varying weather conditions

- Excellent health and safety awareness with demonstrated commitment to workplace safety practices

- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Positive communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

- Willingness to undertake relevant training or certifications as required by the company

- Experience with site inductions, construction safety protocols and compliance documentation is desirable as these will be necessary to undertake
