About The Role

We are looking for an experienced .NET and Azure developer to design, develop, and support applications and data workflows in a modern cloud environment. You will work with Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Web Apps, as well as Azure Data Factory, to deliver solutions that meet business and technical needs. The role includes integrating data from relevant platforms and services, investigating issues across connected systems, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of application and pipeline design.

This position suits someone who combines strong development skills with a practical, analytical approach to problem-solving. You will work as part of an agile team and collaborate with colleagues across development, data, and DevOps activities. Australian citizenship and current Australian Government Baseline security clearance are required. Applicants must be residing in Australia.

Qualifications

Candidates should have demonstrated experience developing applications using .NET and Microsoft Azure. Practical knowledge of Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Web Apps is required, together with experience designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Experience integrating data from Unity Catalog is preferred.

You should be familiar with agile ways of working and DevOps practices, including collaborating through iterative delivery and supporting dependable software releases. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, as is the ability to explain technical issues clearly and work constructively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications and Azure services, including Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Web Apps. Build and improve data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring that integrations are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with project requirements. Where applicable, connect data from Unity Catalog and other relevant platforms while considering data quality, security, and operational needs.

Work with agile team members to clarify requirements, estimate and deliver work, participate in planning and review activities, and share progress or risks.

DevOps practices to support development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Analyse complex application and data integration challenges, identify root causes, and implement practical resolutions. Document technical decisions and solutions, contribute to code quality, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout delivery.
