Embark on a new adventure in the insurance industry and join a well known with this new SME Underwriting role. The Underwriter is responsible for assessing submissions and making underwriting decisions across a defined product portfolio within established guidelines, appetite and delegated authority levels.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney.

As an Underwriter, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- To develop and underwrite new business and renewal retention
- Manage client relationships
- Increase company's market share through building recent and existing relationships
- Apply appropriate pricing, terms and conditions and coverage structures in accordance with sound underwriting principals.
- Be able to effectively promote the company and products to the broker market
- Attend industry events on behalf of the business
